Google Docs Update will show you, word counts, while you type

The feature is rolling out to users since September 9, but many of us have not received it as the company has decided for gradual launch. If you have not received this feature, don’t worry as you will be getting it in two weeks. After this feature reaches you, you will be able to save a lot of your time. Previously we had to go to Tools>Word count to check the word count of any document. But now you will be able to get it simultaneously, by selecting Tools>Word Count>Display Word Count. The number of words you have written will be displayed on the low left corner of your document. On the top, you will be able to see the helpful information such as the page count, character count (with and without spaces). You can even see the word count of a specific section of text if you highlight that section in your doc. If you have the latest version of the Docs, you will not have to enable the feature through the steps revealed above, but you can disable it by going to Tools>word count>display word count.
