Luxury Automaker Cadillac Launches its First-ever E-vehicle

General Motors, the parent company of Cadillac already produces hybrid or electric cars like the Chevrolet Volt and Bolt but intends to produce  20 models of all-electric vehicles by 2023. The battery which would power the Lyriq was revealed in March. Dubbed the Ultium, it enhances the capacity to run more than 300 miles (500 kilometers) on a single full charge. GM plans to use this battery on all future electric cars for its every brand: Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, and Buick. The Lyriq will also come with a self-governing driving assistance option along with a 33-inch LED screen across the dashboard. The vehicle is set to help GM to catch up with Tesla.
