Xiaomi says “At present, the Mi MIX 3 5G, Mi 9, and Redmi K20 Pro are in the Android Q Beta program, which is free for developers to use.” Mi A3 is listed in this category as well.

The Xiaomi A3 will run on Android One software. It is powered by Google, Google’s Android One software offers two Android versions i.e. Android Q and Android R. Fortunately, Xiaomi Mi A3 is allowed to get both versions. Android One also focuses on security updates on a regular basis. Therefore, Mi a3 will get more and more security updates and notifications.
